Blurry Weekends ?

When every day feels the same, then, what is different about the weekends?

Obviously, like a “normal” person, weekends always excited me. But now it feels every day is the same, which is true as technically we are at home all times.

Now Logging off on Friday evening means and feels very different. Work hours seep into leisure, and housework intrudes into the work-from-home hours. I often find myself making frequent trips to the kitchen for a snack.

Initially, remote working was fun, but now after four-five months, I have started missing office. I even login during the weekend a lot more because of boredom on Saturdays and Sundays. The general idea of weekends is leisure and socialising with Friends. Demarcating hours of work and entertainment can be a bit of a struggle.

But Still, I am trying to cope up with virtual get-togethers, catching up on reading, actually indulging in my hobby of sketching and cooking and then be asleep until noon.

Weekends are still an incentive for someone like me who loves her sleep. Even though I am working from home, at least I can sleep until whatever time without any disturbances (hopefully).
